I’ve always wondered at the complexities of humans
You didn’t make us simple entities, did You?
Some have been studying the eyes for many years
And what we know about them is still limited
Others have devoted a lifetime to understand how the brain works
Our body is an endless study, not to talk of our souls, will, and emotions
If we can be this complex, and You made us,
How much more complex You are, O Lord!
And if we can have feelings, who says You don’t have feelings too?
So, dear Lord, how are You doing today?
Lord, many folks have picked up the signal of Your heart
Some have run with it while others just watch,
thinking it’s no big deal;
Others are ignorant of it, “There’s nothing like that,” they say.
But knowing some were keen to Your heart is a blessing
Knowing their dedication to know Your heart is a great motivation
